Working Dogs For Vets exists to save lives at both ends of the leash. Our mission is to provide disabled veterans with highly trained service dogs and accessible training programs that restore independence, reduce suicide risk, and support successful reintegration into civilian life. At the same time, we rescue dogs from overcrowded shelters—98% of our service dogs come from shelters—and give them a second chance as purpose‑trained partners.
